MEET THE ARTIST

Hi there, I’m Kelsey Bauchle (boy-klee)

Ever since I can remember, art has been a part of my life. My mom’s grandmothers and mother were painters. My dad’s father was a brilliant carpenter and my mom is an incredible and unique paper artist.

Photography fell into my lap when I was 22 years old, freshly graduated from college and from a life of sports and constant competition.

Without realizing it, all of the artists in my life up until that point were teaching me about design and composition and light and texture. Those things easily translated to photography and it came so naturally to me.

Even though my work has evolved so much over the years - putting most of my focus on family photography - my love for capturing the intimate in-between moments has remained constant.

I want your photos to be more than just a photo. I want them to be a memory that you can feel and feel and re-live every time you see them.

it’s more than just photos

It’s about remembering each season exactly as it was

chaotic | joyful | messy | heart-expanding | loud

Where the floors are crumb-covered and the hearts are full.

That’s photo-worthy.

MAMACITA

I have the honor and privilege of being the mom to two amazing kiddos. They’re a huge reason why I stepped back from shooting weddings. I wanted to be as present as possible as they are growing up. Photographing families gives me that flexibility and allows me to dive in head first to both being a present mother and a confident business owner.
